How do I use the cleaner?

Paste relevant phrases in priority order, or import a TXT list or CSV/XLSX with a Keyword, Keyword Phrase, Search Term or Suchbegriff column. Add your existing title and bullet points to avoid repeating their words. Inspect the result before adding it to your listing.

What is counted?

Accepted Answer

The counter measures the UTF-8 bytes in the exact output, including spaces. Unicode is normalized, text becomes lowercase, punctuation separates words, and duplicates are removed. Accented letters are preserved. A word that cannot fit is skipped; a shorter later word may still fit.

Is 249 bytes always the Amazon limit?

Accepted Answer

249 is a conservative starting budget based on Amazon’s less-than-250-byte guidance. Marketplace and category requirements can differ or change. Check the current field rules in Seller Central and set your own budget. This is a text utility, not a listing eligibility check.

Question 4

Does it remove brands or prohibited claims automatically?

Accepted Answer

No. Add individual unwanted words to your exclusion list. Check brands, ASINs, relevance, spelling and prohibited claims yourself. The optional English/German stop-word list is editable in effect by turning it off; it does not stem or translate words.

Where is my file processed?

Accepted Answer

Files stay in this browser. No account, email, Amazon connection or paid API is needed. TXT files are limited to 1 MB, tabular files to 10 MB and 100,000 rows. Closing the page clears the working data.
