Which report is supported?

Accepted Answer

Use the ASIN-view Search Query Performance report from Amazon Brand Analytics, with total and ASIN count columns. English Amazon CSV headers and the downloadable template are supported. CSV/TSV and single-sheet XLSX are accepted up to 10 MB and 100,000 rows. A leading export metadata line is skipped when a Search Query header is found within the first 20 rows. Brand-only shares cannot substitute for ASIN counts.

How do I supply source dates?

Accepted Answer

Use one full native month or seven-day source week, exactly as shown by Amazon. Files may include Period Type, Period Start and Period End. Otherwise enter the missing metadata next to the file. A single Reporting Date is not assumed to be a start or end boundary. A previous file is optional; comparisons need the same marketplace, period type and ASIN scope.

What do the percentages mean?

Impression, click and purchase share divide your selected ASIN counts by the corresponding total query counts. CTR is ASIN clicks divided by ASIN impressions. Purchases per click is ASIN purchases divided by ASIN clicks. Missing counts remain unavailable; a zero denominator never produces a made-up percentage.

What is the purchase gap?

It is the non-negative difference between purchases at your current click share and your observed ASIN purchases: total query purchases × ASIN click share − ASIN purchases. It is a benchmark for investigation, not a sales forecast, revenue estimate or promised gain. All units are purchase counts as supplied by SQP.

Question 5

What happens with multiple ASINs or duplicate rows?

A query’s total market count is used once; ASIN counts are combined only within a consistent scope. Exact duplicates are removed and counted. Conflicting duplicates or market totals block the result. A changed query-level ASIN set has no period delta. Review notes remain visible in the export.

Does SQP separate paid and organic results?

Accepted Answer

This analysis does not infer paid-versus-organic performance or causation. Suggestions identify funnel differences for manual review. Data from two source periods can show an association but cannot establish that an ad, listing change or rank movement caused it.

Do I need to connect my Amazon account?

Accepted Answer

No. Export your report in Seller Central and select it here. The file is processed locally, with no login, email gate or data upload to SYNQ. Downloads include every filtered row, not only the current table page.
